The Womanizer Liberty is available in the following colours: Red Wine, Lilac, Pink Rose, Powder Blue, Pearl White (limited anniversary edition) and Pink/Orange/White (Lily Allen special edition). Each colour has a different matching design on the packaging, which is pretty cool.

The Womanizer Liberty comes in a relatively small box that is simple yet sturdy. It opens from the side like a drawer, you just need to pull the loop strap. Before doing so, remove the hygiene seal or simply cut it through.

The package includes the following: the Womanizer Liberty, a USB charging cable (without charger), an additional silicone attachment (shorter), a storage pouch and the instruction manual.

The first impression is very positive. The Liberty has an elegant and compact design, and it immediately stands out as being quite small compared to other models. Only the Womanizer Starlet 1 is smaller. Due to its design, it is also ideal for travel, as it comes with a stylish magnetic cap that not only ensures discretion, but also provides protection from dust and dirt.

At first glance, the Liberty is definitely not recognisable as a sex toy. Even if someone takes off the magnetic cap, for example at an airport security point, they won't know what it is if they are unfamiliar with this type of clitoral stimulator, especially if they are a man. So if you ever find yourself in a situation where someone stumbles across your Liberty, just claim it's a pore cleanser for the skin.

The hygienic cap is magnetic. Although it snaps into place well, the magnetic attraction is not really strong. Therefore, you should not pick up the Liberty by the cap. However, when carrying it in your handbag, for which it is designed, the magnetic cover will definitely remain firmly in place. The cap also serves as a travel lock, as none of the buttons can be pressed accidentally.

The surface of the toy is made of smooth ABS plastic, but it feels pleasant to the touch. The attachment on the stimulation head is made of medical silicone. Charging the Womanizer Liberty

To charge the Liberty, place the charging head on the magnetic pins and connect the charging cable to a laptop or PC. A USB wall charger is not included. The charging cable attaches well and firmly to the magnetic pins, which is unfortunately not the case with all models. When charging, an LED inside the stimulation head flashes. When it lights up continuously, the device is fully charged. The LED is quite dim and barely visible, so look closely if you're unsure.

The charging time is usually around one hour, but the first charge can take significantly longer. During charging, the Liberty may get slightly warm, which is normal. When fully charged, the battery lasts up to 2 hours. Considering the size of the toy, this is quite remarkable. However, if you only use high intensity levels, the battery will of course not last as long.

If you want to know when it is time to recharge the Liberty, pay attention to the LED under the silicone attachment when you switch on the toy. If it flashes, you should charge the device.

How to Use the Womanizer Liberty?

Before use, remove your intimate piercings, if you have any. Apply some water-based lubricant and then switch on the Womanizer by pressing and holding the plus button for two seconds.

Now gently spread your labia apart and place the stimulation head on your clitoris using light pressure. Make sure the opening surrounds your clitoral glans. Most Womanizer models usually come with a silicone attachment that has a larger or smaller opening to provide different fits for different bodies. While an additional silicone attachment is included here as well, its opening is the same size as the one already attached. However, this attachment is shorter, which means that the pressure chamber of the toy is closer to your clitoris. So switch to the shorter attachment if you feel like you're not experiencing enough sensation. Replacement caps can be ordered online if you ever lose one.

When the Liberty is in the right position, you can now adjust the intensity. You can choose from six intensity levels. With the plus button you increase the intensity, and with the minus button you can decrease it. The buttons are on the inside and can therefore be operated with the thumb. Press them briefly and do not hold them down, otherwise you will turn the device off. It can also happen that the Womanizer Liberty turns off by itself during use, without your intervention. In that case, you have left the intensity at the same level for more than 10 minutes.

For its small size, the Womanizer Liberty is quite powerful. That's why it's not whisper quiet, but it's not loud either. We classify it somewhere between quiet and moderately loud. There is no major difference in volume compared to the slightly more expensive Womanizer Classic 2, which also has a plastic body.

With many Womanizer models, you can close your thighs during use to hold them in the same position and possibly have your hands free. Unfortunately, the Liberty is a bit too small for that, so it only works to a certain extent. However, it is small enough to simply pull your briefs over it and use it hands-free. It's worth a try.

One would assume that its shape would make it suitable for use during sex, but in practice things are unfortunately different. The toy is simply too small and too light for that. It will therefore be difficult to keep it in the same position, because you can't really grasp it firmly. The smooth surface also doesn't provide a good grip with too much movement. However, you can ask your partner to penetrate you with their fingers or with a dildo while you are using the Liberty on your clitoris, that works great.

After use, simply clean the waterproof toy and the removable silicone attachment with water and mild antibacterial soap. You can also just use a toy cleaner. Let the Liberty dry completely after cleaning, then store it in a dry place out of direct sunlight.

We have compared the prices in all British online shops and can say: The Womanizer Liberty does not cost the same everywhere, there are big differences. The price can even go up to £120. Originally, the Liberty cost £89, but after the introduction of the Liberty 2 in December 2023, its price was reduced by £10 in the official Womanizer online shop. However, we found the cheapest price (£72) at Notino.co.uk, although it should be noted that this offer is not always available. We would also like to emphasise that we personally definitely prefer the newer model Liberty 2.

Final Thoughts on the Womanizer Liberty

Let's start with the positive things. The Womanizer Liberty is certainly one of the most visually attractive models, all colour variations look great. It is also one of the cheapest models. Thanks to the cap, the sex toy is very discreet. The magnetic cover also serves as a button lock and provides reliable protection against dirt. The magnetic charging pins are also very hygienic, much better than a DC or Micro USB port, as was the case with the Womanizer Pro W500, for example. Furthermore, the device is 100% waterproof and is therefore very easy to clean.

The Womanizer Liberty feels fantastic and will reliably bring you to climax. It is definitely powerful enough to do that, it may just take a little longer than with the larger Womanizers, depending on your sensitivity. However, we would still only recommend it for travel, not for regular or even daily use. It is just too small and too light to hold comfortably, and its smooth surface makes this even more difficult. This won't bother you if you only use it occasionally, but it can get annoying if you use it frequently, especially as there are simply better alternatives. There are many Womanizer models that are definitely much more comfortable to hold.

The battery life could also be a little better. A charge should actually last 2 hours at low intensity, but it doesn't quite do that. We wanted to know whether this is only the case with our device or whether it is normal, so we went through some reviews online. And indeed, other users have had the same experience. Some reviews also mentioned that the battery performance of this model decreases over time. We have not yet been able to confirm this. However, this is actually complaining at a high level, as it only takes a few minutes for most women to reach orgasm with the Liberty anyway, and for that, the battery life is more than sufficient.

The following point, however, makes it clearer that the Liberty was really only designed for travel: Although its first intensity level is gentle, it is not as gentle as that of the Womanizer Premium 2, for example. So if you have a very sensitive clitoris, it's better to go for the Premium 2. Also, its high intensity levels are pretty strong for the size of the toy, not quite as strong as those of the Premium 2, but they come close. However, since the Liberty only has six intensity levels, this unfortunately means that there are large jumps between the individual levels. This can result in one level feeling too weak and the next one too strong.

Even though the higher levels are intense, you get the feeling that the Liberty has to work harder than the larger models to reach them. It doesn’t achieve this as effortlessly as the Premium 2, for example. In normal use, this probably only becomes noticeable if you are familiar with both sex toys and can make a direct comparison. However, it is especially clear that the Liberty struggles when used underwater. The Premium 2 performs significantly better in this regard. But if you don't plan to use the Liberty underwater and you don't attach much importance to extremely gentle intensity levels or the somewhat poorer handling than with other Womanizer models, then you will have a lot of fun with the Womanizer Liberty.
