One of the reasons for this is undoubtedly its versatility, because ‘2-in-1 vibrator’ is actually an understatement, as the toy can do much more. Packaging and First Impression

The Satisfyer Dual Love comes in an attractive and sturdy box. In addition to the toy, it includes a magnetic USB charging cable, a quick start guide and safety information.

The Dual Love is made of silky smooth, skin-friendly silicone and ABS plastic and is phthalate-free (without plasticisers). Especially in terms of material and workmanship, the manufacturer has made great progress recently. There have also been positive developments in terms of design. Whereas in the past, Satisfyer obviously used to take some inspiration here and there, it now develops its own designs. Meanwhile, the company has won more than 100 international design awards.

The Dual Love has a total length of 16 cm and a diameter of about 5.2 cm at the head. So even though it's a bit bigger than it looks in the pictures, its slim design definitely makes it ideal for travel. However, make sure you store it properly to prevent dirt from getting into the opening or dust and lint from sticking to the silicone. All you need is a simple satin pouch. Even if it does get dirty, it’s no big deal because the toy is fully waterproof, making cleaning much easier.

The Versatility of the Satisfyer Dual Love

Pressure wave stimulators with an insertable shaft existed before, but only in the form of rabbit vibrators for simultaneous stimulation of the clitoris and the G-spot, such as the Womanizer Duo 2 or Satisfyer Pro G-Spot Rabbit. However, these toys could only be used in the way just described. Here it's different, as the Satisfyer Dual Love can be used as a pressure wave clitoral stimulator on the one hand, and on the other hand it has an insertable shaft with a vibration motor, which can also serve as a lay-on vibrator for external use, for example on the clitoris or other erogenous zones. This versatility makes it particularly interesting for beginners, especially as the shaft has an ideal average thickness of around 3.8 cm. There's also the fact that you can't be sure beforehand whether you'll like clitoral stimulation through pressure waves or not. So even if, in the end, it turns out that this kind of stimulation is not your thing, then at least you'll still have a good and powerful vibrator to insert or use externally, because the vibration of this model is not concentrated solely on the head of the device, as is the case with other Satisfyers that feature vibration. The Satisfyer Dual Love has 11 vibration programmes and 11 pressure wave intensities, which you can control via 3 buttons directly on the device or via app. In the latter case, of course, you would have to pair it with your smartphone, tablet, laptop or Apple Watch via Bluetooth beforehand. The pairing works without any problems, as does the remote control. By the way, you can find numerous other programmes and functions in the Satisfyer Connect app. You can also design your own vibration patterns and save them or share them with other users. It is also possible to sync the vibration with music or with ambient sounds. This means that the toy can vibrate to the beat of the music. App control also means that your partner can operate the vibrator from anywhere in the world, while you can video chat at the same time. Since the toy has 2 motors, pressure waves and vibration can be controlled separately and therefore also combined with each other. However, the latter option makes little sense with this model, because unlike most other Satisfyers with vibration motors, the two types of stimulation mentioned here are rather to be seen as "either/or" options. The Dual Love's vibration is not concentrated on the head, but on the insertable shaft. The vibration does reach the head, but it would of course be uncomfortable to hold the toy by the vibrating shaft all the time. The motors are powerful yet still very quiet.

It should be clear how to use a pressure wave stimulator. Simply spread your labia slightly apart and place the stimulation head with the opening on your clitoris. The shaft with the vibration motor can be used just like a normal vibrator. But first you need to fully charge the device, the charging time is usually about 90 minutes. However, the first charge can take a lot longer, so keep an eye on the LED light; when it stops flashing, the battery is fully charged. A USB charging cable is included, you can plug it into an USB port on your PC or laptop. Or you can use a standard 5V charger (not included in the delivery).

Using the Dual Love is quite simple: to connect it to your smartphone (or tablet, PC, Apple Watch), press and hold the button with the power symbol for 4 seconds until the device vibrates twice. This puts it into pairing mode. Then pair it with your smartphone via Bluetooth as you would normally do. The functions of the app are clear and actually self-explanatory. Controlling the toy via the buttons on the back is also very easy. There are three buttons, two of which are multifunctional. The power button, for instance, is used to turn the pressure waves on and off (press and hold down for 2 seconds), to increase the intensity of the pressure waves (press briefly) and, as just mentioned, to activate the pairing mode. The button with the single wave allows you to turn on the vibration (press for 2 seconds) and change the vibration programme. The third button decreases the intensity of the pressure waves.

Cleaning is very easy - just use some mild antibacterial soap and water or a sex toy cleaner, then wipe the toy with a lint-free cloth.

Price Comparison

The original price of the Satisfyer Dual Love and the other models in the Dual series is £59.95 in the official Satisfyer online shop, but the toys are available at a reduced price (usually between £28 and £34) at Sinful and Notino. In other shops and also on Amazon they cost more.

The Dual Series

The Dual series comprises a total of four models: Dual Love, Dual Pleasure, Dual Kiss and Dual Crush.

The Satisfyer Dual Love has a straight shaft. However, if you prefer curved vibrators that allow you to reach the G-spot more easily, then the Satisfyer Dual Pleasure or the Satisfyer Dual Crush is the right choice for you. The Satisfyer Dual Kiss also has a curved shaft, but we're personally not big fans of using plastic in an insertable silicone shaft. The metallic look is indeed cool, but a pure silicone shaft has of course fewer gaps in which bacteria can accumulate. But that's not all, sex toy cleaner can also accumulate in the gaps and you may risk irritation of the mucous membranes. So if you buy the Dual Kiss, be extra diligent when wiping off the toy cleaner.

The motors and the performance are the same for all toys in the Dual series, as are the number of programmes, but not all models can be controlled via app. The only other differences are the design of the toys and the shape, height and size of the stimulation head.

For instance, if you have a larger clitoris, the Dual Pleasure and Dual Kiss might not be the best choices. Otherwise, the soft silicone mouth fits well and precisely on the clitoris. For a better sensation, you can use water-based lubricant.
